My Baby Jane Journal. Thursday, June 10, 2010. My Fourth Block for the SSC RR. This block belongs to Maureen T. I love the colour tones in this one, and I'm very pleased with the finished. Block I have used a few ideas from the Carole Samples Book "A Treasury of Crazy Quilt Stitches". Close-up of some of the seam detail, on the right. I hope Maureen likes what I have done for her. Sunday, August 27, 2006. Some people call their special room a "sewing" room, some call it a "work" room, but I like to call it my "play/work/sewing" room because that's what I do there. On my table I can "play" with my fabrics until I get the combination I like. Then, the "work" begins as I decide how to use my choices; the planning, cutting, and finally - the "sewing" kicks in. Friday, August 10, 2012. My husband, Fred, has recently started canning the juice he's been juicing in his juicer. He takes about 4 wide mouth pint jars to work to drink during the day. They've been clinking, clanking and clunking in his lunch bag, so he's requested a cozy for them. Here's what I came up with. Let me know if you find an error. Using a magic circle, ch 2, make 12 hdc in ring. Gently close the circle and join with a sl st to the top of the ch 2. ROWS: 5 – 18:. End and weave in end.

Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Update, I've been BAD! Ok, I've been bad and haven't posted in forever! I should be able to keep up with it better now that my very pregnant Dearest Daughter (my grandson is due anytime now - hurry up and get here, Saad) has a blog (see link at right under "Family and Friends") because she will nag me to death to keep up with my blog. I was volunteering at the Animal Umbrella. My last day there is Friday. I'm thinking of volunteering at Northeast Animal Shelter.
