Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Finally took images from my Photo 1 class last semester. I kinda went a little overboard with it. teehehee. Took an average of 40 hours of shooting 12 standard black and white rolls of film, developing, printing many, MANY proof prints, and final prints. Then another average of 40 hours of designing, hand fabricating the frames and assembly. I dont like to toot my own horn but im really proud of this one. If you would like to see it. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Okay so this is what i am working on at the moment! Im really excited about this, what was supposed to. Be a sample now, epic piece of awesomness. Im going to be patinaing all the leaves with a dark. Green, and some liver of sulfered black,. Then all the flowers, frogs birds and ext. And then the whole thing will be blind rivited! First of all, I wanted to announce that I will be showing a piece in the Materials: Hard and Soft show at the Greater Denton Arts Council, juried by Jean W McLaughlin, director of Penland School of Crafts. The show will be up from February 8-April 15. I really wish I could be there to see it! The opening reception will be February 8 from 6-8 pm, with awards announced at 6:45pm. This has been a very busy semester! Brooch: Copper, brass, sterling silver, enamel, camera lens.
