Jul 1, 2010. I met Baby Ethan when he was 2 1/2 weeks old and he was already a charmer. Such a sweet spirit and a joy to be around. He made us all smile. His Mom and Dad were overflowing with love for him. His Dad, Jason, kept saying, "Look at him. Isn't he cute! I know that Ethan will always have a cheering squad for him and we all need that. Feb 18, 2010. I have completely enjoyed watching this little girl grow up. She just turned 2 and it was time to capture what she is like at this age. We got together in Long Beach the day before Valentine's Day and it was definitely sweet. She was quick to smile and fun to watch her explore her surroundings. The Valentine's balloon was SUPER FUN! She has such a gentle side to her. Even when she is in some fun and edgy clothes. And a tutu with fairy wings was a fun way to finish out our time together.

I love being surprised by the gender of our babies at birth! That moment is so exhilarating and exciting. I absolutely love the surprise. Before I found out that I was pregnant with our fourth baby, I had begun to sense the Lord leading me (us) to pursue a birth at home. I felt a strong desire to give birth to our next (and likely last) baby in the quiet comfort of our home. So sorry it wont be what you thought! But thats cool you still will have a midwife.

As I see tulips, trees blossoming, green grass and birds chirping, it makes me excited. I took a walk around campus today after my Sunday afternoon nap. The lighting was perfect for taking pictures.
