Bart and Jen Palmer Family. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. I saw an elf! Only moved in a few weeks and we hosted Thanksgiving. Luckily, I have a very laid back family who doesn't need coddled, and I don't need to be the "hostess with the mostest". It also helps that we had a room to "hide" everything not unpacked yet. After a few days of wearing my stupid glasses (that's what I call them because I hate wearing glasses), I went "one-eyed" and only wore one of my contacts. That's an adventure in and of itself. A word to the wiser than me.don't do that either. Although faced with the alternative, I would do it again. They are so fun!
