I was looking forward to planting summer vegetables because I installed some organic methods to ward off aphids as I mentioned in my previous blog. And I and my kids planted the sprouts on the gardening ridges covered with silver mulching sheets. List of my summer vegetables:. A green eggplant, my first try. Journey Of My Garden. Thursday, October 13, 2011. The Long Beans sprouted and I blogged it in this post here. The below photos were taken. after 2 months, the Long Beans plant has started flowering and producing. 3 plants of Long Beans growing well on the metal trellis. Getting bushier everyday. The young shoots are nice to be stir-fried or in Maggie Mee noodles. 3 inches short of 2 feet! The Long Beans had landed in my fried rice and a vegetable lasagna. Bad, bad, baaaaaaaaaddd Weather………. and Snails! June 13, 2013. Hi all. I am very sad bcoz my plants died. Only few can survive this bad weather. It is already mid of June but there is no sign of Dry season. The dry season supposed to start in April but i heard we got “Musim kemarau basah” (wet dry season).
