A journey to acceptance. Asperger's is not all that I am. it should NOT be all that defines me. Sometimes others will speak for us, but I believe we should speak for ourselves when ever possible. Asperger's Syndrome is an Invisible Disability- if people can't see your challenge, they often don't believe you have one. Transition plans are extremely important. The "right fit" is so important- especially in the work world. Be careful with calling us "Special".
