Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Cannot Connect Remotely to SQL Server. No client could connect to the SQL server. I was getting connection fail error. See Figure 1. The error message, see Figure 1, indicated it was remote connection setup but the SQL server had worked. H1 SQL Server only listening on 10.x.x.x network card. Thursday, August 28, 2008. SQL Repart would Not Run. Server: Msg 7919, Level 16, State 2, Line 1. Repair statement not processed. Database needs to be in single user mode. DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator. I was get no errors on the database. I was trying to run some prventative mantainance. You can convert the database to a single user mode by:. 1 Opening Enterprise Manager. 2 Right Click on the Database and go to property. 2 Select Sharing tab.

He was getting this error: A first chance exception of type 'System.FormatException' occurred in mscorlib.dll. Goggleing the error was no help.
