I was trying to get some rest from a 31-hour bus trip,when news of a plane crash in the Eastern DRC town of Bukavu, started filtering through on the internet. That was Sunday, 12th February. Poniedziałek, 3 października 2011. Dar es Salaam - Tanzania. Na ulicach zorganiowany chaos. A w sercu - spokój. Śliczny uśmiech małej czarnoskórej dziewczynki. I kogut obwieszczający rankiem, że już dzień i może najwyższa pora już wstać! Prawie jak - u Babci na wsi 18 lat temu :)! Centrum miasta - wygląda jak każde europejskie miasto. W sklepach znajdziemy wszystko czego tylko dusza zapragnie:) Od pasty do butów przez środki czystości, aż do składanych krzeseł ogrodowych z materiałowym siedzeniem.

Jednym z głównych zadań projektu „Afya Bora” jest przeprowadzenie badań labolatoryjnych (badanie moczu, badanie krwi i kału) w grupie 200 dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym i wczesnoszkolnym pod kątem chorób zakaźnych. Niewyobrażalna wręcz. Nie widać wyłaniających się na horyzoncie świateł miast ani wiosek. Dochodzi do naszej świadomości. powoli i ospale. odsłaniając ciemne zakamarki naszych wnętrz.
