100 MILES FROM HOME. An experiment in eating locally. Day Two: There’s nothing to eat! Sarah’s oats didn’t porridge her way but my coffee ( Hummingbird Fairtrade Oomph. Certainly hit the spot – staved off the hunger for a bit until I forraged the non-contraband shelves in the cupboards and fridge. A healthy start to the day; homemade yoghurt made with Biofarm. Organic whole milk from Palmerston North, hazelnuts from Malborough’s Nut Ranch. And honey from Malborough, J Bush and Sons. One down, two to go.
