Noelle + Kip

Friday, November 14, 2008. From Minnesota to Colombia. It´s been a few months since this blog has been updated, so here we go. Hold on to your britches.August to November. Kip and I had an absolutely wonderful time being home with our families and friends. We were able to see more family than we expected while also spending a huge amount of time with our folks! Although I do not regret leaving for South America, I do wish I could have all of these people with me along the way. After plenty of hours of re...

Noelle + Kip: April 2008

http://www.kipandnoelle.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Here's a taste of what the men had to go through. Links to this post. Rain Drops, Cherry Blossoms, and Those Darn Mosquitos. I can conclude that they are officially here like the rain, and I am not happy about it. If anyone could give me an honest, biological reason for why these disturbing and unfortunate creatures are allowed on this earth, please let me know. -Cheers to flowers and slugs! Noelle + Kip: May: The month of unexpected vacation

http://www.kipandnoelle.blogspot.com/2008/05/may-month-of-unexpected-vacation.html

Sunday, May 18, 2008. May: The month of unexpected vacation. May has been quite an interesting month thus far! We are also running, biking, and and studying spanish. All of which I think is really hard! The next few months will be quite valuable as we try to take in Korea while also mentally/physically preparing to see family, friends, and a whole new continent! Goodbye rice and kimchi, Hello rice and beans. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

tones for Jones' bones: six years? are you serious?

http://kipjones.blogspot.com/2008/03/ive-gotta-write-fast-as-fast-as-i-can.html

I've gotta write fast, as fast as I can. I'm reworking the web site at the moment (lots of cool new widgets out there on the internet for free these days, thank God, 'cause some of us can barely code) which always prompts a heavy degree of wistfulness as I'm forced to wade through almost six. No memorizing boring dialogs! We must learn how to intuit at least a little bit of English structure! Nols and I are kind-of planning our upcoming trip through Central and South America, and I sure as hell hope that...

tones for Jones' bones: Happily Ensconced in Málaga

http://kipjones.blogspot.com/2008/11/happily-ensconced-in-mlaga.html

Happily Ensconced in Málaga. Hope all is well. It's quite late, about 1 am, but Noelle and I have rented this crazy little doohickey that keeps us connected to the internet until tomorrow morning, and I don't want to waste too much time. The childhood home of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Mompós, stuck between rivers, notoriously difficult to reach, and the city to which Simon Bolivar claims to owe his glory. The concert was to start at 8. We arrived a little after 8. There was no crowd. Then s...Ducked ou...

tones for Jones' bones

http://kipjones.blogspot.com/2008/02/from-sky-wind-stars-and-poems-by-yun.html

From "Sky, Wind, Stars, and Poems" by Yun Dong-ju (1917-1945). Instead of a Foreword. Looking to the sky until the day I die. Without one speck of shame. The wind in the space between the leaves. With a heart that sings the stars. I must love everything that's going to die. And then the path given to me. Tonight, as well, the stars are grazed by the wind. From "The Love of a One-eyed Fish" by Ryu Shi Hwa (1958- ). Is the sea's wound. Not many know it. Is the sea's pain. Not many know it.

tones for Jones' bones: WHOA--he updated his blog--is he dying?

http://kipjones.blogspot.com/2007/10/whoa-he-updated-his-blog-is-he-dying.html

WHOA- he updated his blog- is he dying? I got married since the last time I typed anything here! If you're waiting for your thank you note from our wedding I swear we're writing them! Actually, Nols is done with hers and I keep putting it off like an idiot. That's the whole story. I have a new job now, at the English Town. In other other news, I have made a lot of new songs, some little, some dumb; I have been uploading them only to facebook, which is lame. Now, I've also put them on my homepage.

tones for Jones' bones: Lost Blog Heads for Lost City

http://kipjones.blogspot.com/2008/10/lost-blog-heads-for-lost-city.html

Lost Blog Heads for Lost City. Well, folks, my apologies for waiting SEVEN months to write anything at all. I can't remember the last time I saw a lost city, so I'm pretty sure this is a rare opportunity. We've been in Colombia for a week now, and we're still finding our feet. A lot of our rusty Spanish has come back, we're learning new words, but the quality that we lack is the endurance. But I have to go. A South Korean guy just showed up! I hope I can still talk! http://kipjones.blogspot.com/2010/06/through-kickstater-lets-make-my-next.html

Through Kickstater, let's make my next record! I've made this recording of songs that I wrote in South America; I've also set up a page at Kickstarter with the goal of mastering and duplicating this new record, HALLAZGO. Wonderfully Made | My prayer is that all women see their true beauty. For we are all wonderfully made.

My prayer is that all women see their true beauty. For we are all wonderfully made. I have had high blood pressure for as long as I remember. I recall being at a doctor’s office when I was 16 years old and he was considering putting me on medication because it was so high. He said it was unheard-of that a young girl should have a blood pressure reading so high. I chalked it up to my family history and thought nothing of it. Eat right and exercise. Months went by. I lost 25 pounds and my cardiologist ...
