Hana Hruska, a Westboro resident, says the beach is a great part of the neighbourhood. “It’s excellent for walking dogs,” she says. Hilson Avenue Public School held their first annual Fall Foodie Fest this past Saturday. The event was a fundraiser as well as a great way to get the community and the school together over some good food, said event organizer Jenn Whiten.
