The cuffs are a little funny looking because I had to go back and add on to the them, since I misread the pattern originally. Oh well! They now fold over perfectly :). The top two are from the January 2008 issue of Creative Knitting - the snowed-under cap. I decided not to embroider the snowflakes because it would detract from the natural variegation of the yarn, and I'm not sure how well it would stay - not one of my best skills. Knit One, Bake Too. Wednesday, April 1, 2009. We live in an area that gets Chinooks. So, although we get snow throughout the winter it generally melts every few weeks. Not so this winter. We have had snow sitting in our yard since November. I thought yesterday, being 12 C, might have been the end of it since the few remaining drifts were disappearing quite quickly, nope! So, here I am, sitting in my little snow globe, waiting for spring! Hopefully it will all have melted by Easter! 1 tsp baking soda.
