Singly Syren: July 2009
http://singlysyren.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 9, 2009. One Small Step for Man.One Giant Leap for Syren. OMGI signed up for online dating. It was a very scary and strange experience! I answered lots and lots of questions about my self that I've never thought of. I in no means think I'm a sexy gal, I guess I'm ok looking but how do you say that in a profile when they keep on asking if I'm sexy! They also asked me question like would I ever consider talking bad about people and do I dislike some people.I had to be honest.right? I guess t...

Stitching for Love and Charity. Monday, February 25, 2008. Socks in the Pile. I just finished off a pair of socks for charity. Which one? I'll post a picture of that once it's complete, meanwhile here are my socks. I used up some wool ends that I had hanging around to make these. But I thought they were too light and would show dirt too quickly so I pulled out some Cherry Kool-aid and nuked them! They look and smell great! Sunday, February 24, 2008. Monday, February 18, 2008. Stitching for Love and Charity. Friday, August 22, 2008. I know it's been a while since I posted something here and I keep telling myself I need to do it, but it just never seems to happen :) I'm still knitting diligently away for Warm Woolies. And have been trying to work steadily towards my big goal of 100 items for them this year. It's going very slowly and I have doubts that I'll make it, but I keep trying anyway! Warm Woolies Items #36-#38. Once this large sized pair is finished I can go back to som...

LovePurl: March 2008

Stitching for Love and Charity. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Socks for Warm Woolies. Well, I finished my first pair of socks for Warm Woolies last night whilst watching Dancing with the Stars. The cuffs are a little funny looking because I had to go back and add on to the them, since I misread the pattern originally. Oh well! They now fold over perfectly :). They were knit with Reynolds Lopi, so are fairly thick. Friday, March 7, 2008. Two Packages Going Out. There was no request for this on their website.

LovePurl: Hat Quest
http://lovepurl.blogspot.com/2008/07/hat-quest.html
Stitching for Love and Charity. Monday, July 28, 2008. I was planning to post back when I had 4 hats, but life got in the way, and now I have 6 hats! The top two are from the January 2008 issue of Creative Knitting - the snowed-under cap. I decided not to embroider the snowflakes because it would detract from the natural variegation of the yarn, and I'm not sure how well it would stay - not one of my best skills. I'm off to work on #7! Great Job. I love the color combinations! July 29, 2008 at 4:20 AM.
