It may seem strange to be so excited about knitting mittens at the beginning of Summer, but I saw this pattern on Ravelry and I just had to cast on IMMEDIATELY! These mittens were designed by Adrian Bizilia. Of Hello Yarn fame. In Teal that is a possibility and also some Blue Sky Alpaca. Sport weight in a lucious turquoise color. This prep was so absolutely wonderful, it practically spun its self! I really love the squishyness of the garter stitch with the Finn wool. 20oz Finn wool spun semi worsted. My knitting, pixelated. K1p1 invisible bind-off tutorial. This being my first. Adventure in toe-up socks, i was a loss as to what bind off to use. sensational knitted socks didn’t have a recommended bind-off (did it? 8230;and i’ve read enough blogs to know that i needed something stretchy. a quick google search didn’t turn up much, although i did rediscover laurie b’s toes and heels webpage.
