And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Wednesday, July 28, 2004. It hasn't been that long that we were cat-less. The last few years of Ozzie's life, he was a bit of a fat cat and, to be brutally honest, we could always hear him come into a room. Either we could hear his little paws clicking across the linoleum, or he would announce himself verbally when he entered a room. There is something sort of other worldly. Posted by Liz @ 10:56 AM. And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Saturday, January 31, 2004. Hold The Mayo, Please. How disgusting is the thought of bologna with butter! It took a long time, but I finally convinced her that good old yellow mustard was the best option. I stopped eating beef almost 4 years ago. It has nothing to do with mad cow, or anything recently in the news. I just found myself being completely turned off by the taste and smell of it. I don't miss it one bit. Posted by Liz @ 1:53 PM.

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Monday, June 28, 2004. This is a Test. Emily spent some time last night writing up an entry about her first driving lesson with her Dad. It has completely disappeared! I have no idea why, so this is a test to see if mine will publish. The driving lesson must have been real fun, since Jim came home with his eyes popping out, and headed straight for the bottle of scotch! Posted by Liz @ 11:57 AM. Saturday, June 26, 2004. But tomorrow is anot...

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Wednesday, March 31, 2004. The price of technology. Posted by Liz @ 7:55 PM. Sunday, March 28, 2004. Every parent loves to see talent in their kids. So last night, a room full of parents were bursting with pride at the enormous talent at Urbana High School. The show was unbelievable, full of energy and enthusiasm. Check out the Ella Fitzgerald. Posted by Liz @ 11:12 PM. Saturday, March 27, 2004. Oh, that's why my shoulders are so tired!

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Sunday, August 29, 2004. Whenever we thought about Quiche, since it is a song he associates with one of their first dates. I went outside in the afternoon and started singing that song and, sure enough I looked up and a blue butterfly was fluttering around me. I watched it for a while, until it fluttered off into the woods. It made me feel better. Posted by Liz @ 1:20 PM. Saturday, August 28, 2004. Posted by Frog @ 10:04 PM. We went, as al...

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Tuesday, December 30, 2003. New Year's Eve.yes or no? Or just wait to see if anyone shows up? If I don't have food, should I hide the goats from potentially hungry guests? Posted by Liz @ 12:59 PM. Sunday, December 28, 2003. It really does sicken me how much my dad works. I think he has some desire to stay in constant motion, some odd form of OCD or ADD or something along those lines. Okay, enough ranting and raving for one day! So I took ...

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Sunday, February 29, 2004. Just when you think we could spend the whole weekend working on our painting project (click here for the slide show). Bonehead called us and said they were heading to Hidden Valley PA for some weekend skiing and wanted us to join them. It was only a 2 hour drive to meet them there, so why not go skiing and visit friends rather than hang around in Maryland where it was supposed to be in the 60's all weekend? They ...

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Monday, May 31, 2004. Memorial Day Part One. This weekend we had the pleasure of hosting some great friends for Memorial Day Weekend. We had 4 local families (by local, I mean ones who live closer than 2 hours away), and others from North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. The final head count has been tabulated. We had ten families, with 17 adults and 24 children. Posted by Liz @ 8:03 PM. Friday, May 28, 2004. I am thoroughly ente...

And Then There Were None. A Slice Of Life In Frederick, Maryland. Saturday, October 25, 2003. The Ballad of Chester and Lola and A.J. So, you might be wondering: why goats? Eventually, the pressure to right the wrongs happening on a seemingly daily basis at the Tremper ranch grew and we agreed that taking a budding ewe and her young buck from the Tremper herd would help return the natural balance of goat life in Virginia. Think of the economic incentives and all the goat milk cheese we could be selling?
