J-Rail: A Look Into the Future | Zach's Journey
https://kuzmanic.wordpress.com/2011/05/20/j-rail-a-look-into-the-future
Around Japan in 3 Weeks. J-Rail: A Look Into the Future. Next we dealt with augmented reality through an iphone. Here the augmentation is a menu based out of weight points in the floor. The menu could show you where you were on a map or directions to someplace, again in AR. In fact most of the new technology that seemed possible was based upon convenient directions like a route finder that will be implemented in a trial this fall. Tea Ceremony | Ben Fico
https://benfico.wordpress.com/2011/06/09/tea-ceremony
Study abroad in Japan. What a great way to end the Study Abroad! The traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony was a great experience. We also got cookies and a white bean sweet. They were both good and very sweet. The white bean one was really pretty! The ambiance definitely added a lot to the ceremony. The hallways were filled with rocks and there were stone statues and fountains everywhere. View from the window of the tea ceremony. Cooking your own food. Jun 12, 2011. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. JR and The Shinkansen | Ben Fico
https://benfico.wordpress.com/2011/05/22/jr-and-the-shinkansen
Study abroad in Japan. JR and The Shinkansen. The Shinkansen, or the bullet train is a pretty amazing way to get around Japan. It is owned by JR, who we visited on Friday. JR is Japan’s largest rail company who has expanded to related companies in the retail, restaurant and hotel businesses. It serves 16 million customers a day, out of 59 million Japanese. We visited the Research and Development center, which is in charge of creating and implementing new innovations to make JR better. Post was not sent -...
Japan Rail | Beaver in Japan
https://beaverinjapan.wordpress.com/2011/06/12/japan-rail
Technology Review →. June 12, 2011. A Japan Rail train connecting us to the rest of Japan. It was the Japan Rail that allowed us to travel from Tokyo to Osaka and then from Osaka to neighboring smaller cities including Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Nara. Even the ferry that took us to Miyajima was JR! Normally, all this traveling via the system would add up very quickly and cost a boat load of money. For foreigners only, however, there is a deal known as the JR Pass. A photo of my Japan Rail Pass. Build a websit...

Japan Rail →. June 12, 2011. An elderly Japanese couple touring the Tokyo Imperial Palace. I don’t think they’re hiding a fountain of youth in Japan, so how exactly does this play out? Expert Advertisers | Allan N' Japan

Allan N' Japan. Japan through a Spartan's Eyes. The Louder the Better! The Japanese are not only creators and innovators oh no. They are sellers and business people too (how else would they have gotten this far? Lol) If you are on the streets of Tokyo you are a part of the target audience, and if you were not looking for something you soon will be! This entry was posted on June 3, 2011 by adrenox. Allan N' Japan. Japan through a Spartan's Eyes. Temples, Shrines, and Sanctuaries OH MY! Just like every other culture, religion plays a large role in the Japanese lifestyle. Shinto and Buddhism are the most predominant amongst the religious people of Japan. Other forms of religion also exist there also such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism but are less practiced. In Japanese religion there is not just one God or Greater Being yet the belief of multiple Gods and deities. Fill in your details ...
NTT docomo | Ben Fico
https://benfico.wordpress.com/2011/06/01/ntt-docomo
Study abroad in Japan. We visited NTT docomo’s Research and Development Center. It was pretty far away and a shorter presentation, but it was very cool! We first watched a movie about Mama Gupta, and how she had friends all over the world but couldn’t visit them because of her physical condition. So all of her friends used futuristic mobile devices and got together and played a song for her over the wireless network. I thought it was a very cute and touching movie. And if not, why? Getting sick in Tokyo.
Nekobukuro! | Ben Fico
https://benfico.wordpress.com/2011/06/07/nekobukuro
Study abroad in Japan. Today I went to Nekobukuro in Ikebukuro. It was called a “Cat House” and basically I paid 600 yen to hang out with some cats for about an hour. It was awesome. The cats were not incredibly friendly since they probably get people trying to pet them all the time. They wouldn’t come up to you or anything, but they would be willing to hang out if you put some effort in. Futurescope and Lucent Pictures. Jun 09, 2011. That’s pretty cool! Jun 11, 2011. Getting sick in Tokyo | Ben Fico
https://benfico.wordpress.com/2011/06/01/getting-sick-in-tokyo
Study abroad in Japan. Getting sick in Tokyo. It finally happened… I got sick! I’m usually pretty healthy, but then again, I’m usually not surrounded by tons of people in near constant rain. I tried to go to the store to get some medicine, but you know how American medicine is all written in English? Japanese medicine is all written in Japanese. Imagine this was all Japanese. Now it's a mystery box with pills on it. Technology Review – NTT docomo Ring. Jun 02, 2011. Jun 03, 2011. Jun 03, 2011. You are co...
