Why Can’t I Find You. March 24, 2012 · 5:02 am. Should Have Been Me. I’ve written a lot of songs, and many of them I look at the lines and think, “Wow, God totally wrote that line. There’s no way I came up with that.” However on this song, I feel as if God wrote the entire song and just happened to pass it along to me. Lucky me! Except the fact that it took me months to be able to play through this song without breaking down and crying. Should Have Been Me. But more or less. The Passion of the Christ.
