Lucan Disability Action Group was established in October 2000, to address the needs of people with a disability in the Lucan area, by eight members of the local community. They felt there was a need to have an organization in place that would focus on the issues and needs of people with disabilities in the greater Lucan and Dublin area. Annually, we hold many events to raise funds for our operational costs and future projects. We will also have some public launches and some very special occasions for members and the generous public that supports us. We are looking to have accessible-computers, photocopier and other equipment that members can use to carryout tasks for themselves, instead of having the need for others to do them on their behalf.
