Sara is the BIGGEST fan of winter and she makes it bright every day. That girl could spend all day every day outside in the snow. Not so much in the summer. She melts in the summer. The first few are posed because I had to get at least a couple of Eve's first winter with her outside. The others are just playing around....

Sean and jeni and sara and matthew and lily and eve. Monday, May 04, 2015. We were able to attend a service project for a church youth camp. The goal was to plant 2,000 trees. Lots of people showed up to help and we had a great time. Sara was on worm patrol. Matthew dug a lot of holes. Lily took up the post as planter. And Eve sampled the soil. The park had this great tire swing. All the older kids had fun taking a turn on it. How cool. What a great project. Darling pictures, too. Being held by mommy.

Monday, July 18, 2011. Leanna said I could put the photos from their trek up Shasta Bally on my blog. This is probably the closest I will ever come to hiking this trail! I had the privilege of watching Trent while they were hiking up the mountain. The descriptions of the photos are in Leanna's words. On the way up, not too far into the trail. Liked how this tree made a bridge. Maybe a mile or mile and a half up the trail. Our first big rest, about 1/2 way up. First glimpse of the lake. We hiked to snow!

Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Today in the early evening their were cotton-like clouds in the sky. And just a sliver of the moon peeking between the clouds.
