하라체어는 2003년 김선환(하라테크 대표)에 의해 발명된 세계최초의 분리형좌면의자이다. 의자의 역사는 인류의 역사와 거의 비슷하게 시작되었다. 그럼에도 인체의 구조와 자연스럽게 조화되는 분리형좌면의자가 수천년이 지나서야 실용화되었다는 것은 무척 아이러니하다. 가까운 미래에 전세계의자의 절반이상은 하라체어스타일로 바뀌게 될 것이다. 글, 사진: 김화용.
