Sunday, August 17, 2008. Uncle John's plane ride. Saturday, August 16, 2008. Today we had two celebrations starting with a baby shower for my friend Denyse Carter. Can't wait to see her little muffin cake baby. Then it was off to an Olympic Themed Birthday Party for Berlin's main squeeze Morris Childers.

Wednesday, January 4, 2012. This is Max at his "Holiday" program. Since it's only "Holiday" and not Christmas, all of the songs were about penguins, candy and snow. It was cute but missing the true meaning of the season. Max had this face the entire time.not a single word came out of his mouth. Briant was so glad he wasn't the one up there this time! Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Derek and Loren accompanied us to the train park in Scottsdale for the holiday display. It was cold and crowded and totally worth it! My camera kept taking blurry pictures.I'm convinced one of the kids has been messing with the settings : ) Anyway, there were lots of characters and music but best of all was the train ride through all the lights! I love that Gwen still believes that these characters are real.however she was curious as to why they couldn't talk!

Thursday, February 17, 2011. On the road again. A few weeks ago we rode bikes over to a friends house for dinner. When we came back out, my bike was gone! I thought for sure Jared was playing a joke on me, but no, it was STOLEN! I have missed my bike A LOT. I was able to replace it this week and Gwen and I are happy to be on the road again! Briant participated in his first Pinewood Derby! He walked into that room KNOWING he was going to win first place! So did all the other boys! Our first couple picture!

The weather was cool, the trees smelled beautiful and the tin foil dinners tasted delicious. Here is a pic of Zach with his cousins Hardy and Berlin. There is nothing better to these kids then exploring the out doors and getting as dirty as possible. My sister Clare is taking a hack at this log. We spent a lot of time looking for fire wood.

Seth, Jacque, and Asher Decker. Sunday, January 24, 2010. Today we took another walk in Hobble Creek Canyon. It was a little colder this time and there was a lot more snow on the trail. The snow was actually better to walk in this time because last time there were a lot of icy patches that we had to watch for. Walking through snow also gave my legs a better workout : ). Dominik war gestern im Tropenhaus des Botanischen Gartens in Osnabrück und musste feststellen, dass sogar Fotografieren in einem Gewächshaus kurz unter dem Dach äußerst schweißtreibend sein kann. :-).
