June 29, 2015. Summer Bucket List: Homemade Ice Cream. Another fun activity I wanted to do with my boys this summer was to make homemade ice cream. Now I don't have an ice cream machine, so I went back in my files and found a freezer ice cream I had made years ago before they were born. You can find the original recipe here. Find the recipe after the pictures. Chocolate Freezer Ice Cream. 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1 1/4 cups whipping cream. 6 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.
