"Sunday best" in Romania is loosely translated into "semi-clean jeans" so we feel a bit overdressed about 99% of the time. That said, you can imagine the stares we get in a crowded outdoor market that would put Istanbul to shame! We were having a blast buying skirts and shirts (you can never have enough), and spoons and strawberries and tomatoes.

Monday, March 7, 2011. A Gallop To The Finish. He is the man at the top who has the final say in whether a project is approved.or not. We love this man but his timing was a bit inconvenient! We cleared our calendar, put our suitcases away, and made reservations for the hotel, rented a car and arranged a driver. We spent one day visiting two families and returned to Bucharest with a heart-full of stories that we will never forget. This is John Mulligan, learning first-hand about Romanian wind and snow.

Friday, October 30, 2009. I love you Mom! For all those who love the Primary Program at church you will love this one! I had a few kids reluctant to go up at first, but they all made it there. Ryan was fun to watch being a sunbeam and not knowing much of the singing words. He had fun moving his hands around. Emma did great in reading her part. Many told Adam afterwards they were surprised she could read so well for her age. Come on people she is in 1st grade! All I can say was too cute! I love you guys!
