http://kimcheecasserole.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Tandoori seems to be the new, hot "ethnic" flavor emerging in the food world. And while I don't own the equipment to make truly authentic tandoori, I do have the spices available. These game hens are excellent- unlike some marinades, the spices in this recipe actually are detectable in the meat, and the hens turned out moist and incredibly delicious. Scoop the yogurt into a bowl or a large plastic bag. If you've got a k...

A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Friday, January 13, 2012. Hollandaise Sauce/Lazy Man's Eggs Benedict. One of my favorite breakfast items is eggs benedict. If we go out to breakfast and the place has ol' eggs benny, you can be sure that I'll order them. But we don't go out to breakfast much, so I decided I'd make my own Hollandaise and Lazy Man's Eggs Benedict. Turns out it's pretty easy. Here's all you need. A shake of hot sauce will do the same things. Here's the finished sauce.

http://kimcheecasserole.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. French Onion Soup With Garlicky Croutons. I love French onion soup. When done right, it's deep, beefy, oniony, and rich. It can be as simple as some onions in broth or as complicated as . well, as complicated as you like to make it. And it's so easy. Slice the onions very, very thinly. Throw them all into a large pot to get them off your cutting board. Next, grab some garlic and mince it as fine as you can. Some people say...

A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Friday, December 30, 2011. Garlic and Herb Rolls. I'm always on the lookout for new, great bread recipes. I don't know if it's the holiday season or what, but I am just loving bread right now. (Trying to squeeze in some extra carbs before the new year? Regardless, I made myself a batch of these Garlic and Herb rolls, and they were instant winners. Two eggs will give the rolls some body and richness. Garlic powder brings the garlic flavor to the table.

A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Monday, January 9, 2012. Hot Pepper Pork Roast. I recently became a fan of pepper jelly. I never knew what to make of it before. But then I was given a couple jars and I learned that it's delicious! A buttery cracker with some cream cheese and a dollop of pepper jelly- yum. But I had more pepper jelly than crackers I wanted to eat (seriously, they're good, but it's the new year, right? And again, with regular apple cider. Great measuring tool here!

Kim Chee Casserole: Cowboy Beans
http://kimcheecasserole.blogspot.com/2011/12/cowboy-beans.html
A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. The first thing you do to make Cowboy Beans is grab some bacon. Roughly chop it, and toss it in a pan to render out the fat. Once the bacon starts to get brown (but not real crispy), add some ground beef. Dice an onion, and add it to the bacon and beef. And don't forget to salt and pepper. While the onions saute, measure some ketchup and mustard. Anyhow, once the onions are softened, you can add the ketchup and mustard.

Kim Chee Casserole: October 2011
http://kimcheecasserole.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
A blog by a Korean in the midwest. Recipes At A Glance. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. With all the crock pot soup I've been making, I've felt the urge to have an equally hearty accompaniment. I suddenly found myself thinking of foccacia. But not just any foccacia. Foccacia studded with rosemary, garlic, and big flakes of salt. A tablespoon of yeast (or a package, if you're using the premeasured packages) is your first ingredient. Warm-ish water will help wake the yeast up. Sprinkle in half the flour.
