Modern technology is a great tool to spread ideas relatively unrestricted within free speech. It is the "great equalizer" because with every student having equal access to technology, and a teacher that teaches them how to use it, they have nearly unlimited potential in their hands. Mind of a Netminder. Saturday, December 30, 2006. So Sadaam was hanged today. The strange thing to me about all this is that us Americans are almost cheering his death. Here is a man who did nothing to us (plenty to Iraqis though) and yet we cheer his hanging as if it was him who carried out the 9/11 attacks *cough cough*. Sigh. Friday, December 15, 2006. Mind of a Netminder. Friday, March 16, 2007. I wonder, well I have always wondered, but what does it mean to love? I don't know why I thought about it, but I have been able to define it a little bit better in my mind. I think it means sharing, both giving and taking and the willingness to do so freely and without anything attached. What does I mean to share? Mind of a Netminder. Monday, January 07, 2008. Wow, so today is January 7, the heart of winter in Illinois. The temperature was 65 F and there were thunderstorms, big ol' honkin thunderstorms! Here's a delicious egg recipe I will share. Just mix all the ingredients together to make the most delicious scrambled eggs. 1 clove mashed garlic. 1 piece mashed ginger. Bit of lemon zest. Chopped handful of basil leaves. One finely chopped green onion. Fresh ground black pepper. Or even for dinner.

Mind of a Netminder. Thursday, September 28, 2006. First Day at School. Well, what an exciting day! Today was a lot of firsts. We then came back to the office and had the jacket ceremony which moved me. It was simply amazing hearing what everbody said, and I have about a million thoughts about it running through my head about it.
