Living a Changed Life: Exercise
http://livingachangedlife.blogspot.com/p/running.html
Jon and I after I finished running my first 5K! I never thought that I would learn to love running, but I have! Check out the running program I used to learn how to run. In Spring 2009 Weight Watchers had a Walk-it! Challenge. It was a way to get people to be more active. So I went online and signed up for my very first 5K. This is the "Learn to Run" program that I downloaded from active.com in April 2009, so that I could literally learn to run. This really worked for me! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://livingachangedlife.blogspot.com/2011/04/recipe-review-berry-cobbler.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. Recipe Review: Berry Cobbler. Last Friday, we invited some friends over for a spur of the moment game night. I knew that this was the perfect time to try making this Berry Cobbler. Not only is it easy, but I could also get some really honest feedback about the recipe. I am glad that my friends do not mind being guinea pigs for the sake of my blog! Everyone enjoyed eating it! It is safe to say that this recipe is a keeper. You will need three ingredients. That's it! Fat: 2.9 g.
Living a Changed Life: Saying NO to Emotional Eating
http://livingachangedlife.blogspot.com/2015/06/saying-no-to-emotional-eating.html
Thursday, June 4, 2015. Saying NO to Emotional Eating. And all I want to do is eat right now. I want a big bowl of ice cream with caramel and chocolate sauce on top. This isn't a pregnancy craving. It's emotional eating! In the moment, I'm feeling sorry for myself. I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm feeling stressed. I'm feeling embarrassed. All of these feelings have led to my overwhelming desire to eat a giant bowl ice cream. As soon as I'm done eating the pleasure is gone and I will be left feeling sick.
Living a Changed Life: Lessons from Naomi
http://livingachangedlife.blogspot.com/2015/04/lessons-from-naomi.html
Thursday, April 9, 2015. Last night at church, our "Women of the Word" group, began a new Bible study on the Book of Ruth. For this first week, we focused our study on Ruth 1. I could not believe how much was jammed packed into this amazing narrative. It was exciting, because as a group, we had so many different things to discuss. She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi;. Call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. I went away full, and the Lord. 2 Naomi is honest before the Lord.

Sunday, July 29, 2012. Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We spent the last week enjoying the beautiful sights of Jackson Hole and its surrounding areas. It is majestic and breathtaking to see such beautiful sights. . We are truly blessed to live in such a amazing country. There are beautiful horses in the valley below the base of the Teton Mountains. I love the sun as it sets over the Grand Tetons, what a beautiful sight! There are steams that amble the fields of lush green valleys.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13. Friday, September 26, 2014. Ch, ch, ch.changes! After a lot of thought and some discussion with friends and neighbors, I've decided to stop being a weight watcher. I'll not be tracking my "points" and such or attending meetings anymore. The last two weeks I've been tracking things through a free app called My Fitness Pal. I love it! Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Skinny Fat vs. Healthy and Fit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Oliver's Adventures: 5.21.16 Lucas is 2 1/2 years old
http://theaoliversadventures.blogspot.com/2016/05/52116-lucas-is-2-12-years-old.html
Saturday, May 21, 2016. 52116 Lucas is 2 1/2 years old. He was so willing to lay down and snap a few pics with LG. He is the BEST and SWEETEST big brother. This is one lucky lil girl and we are one lucky family. Being a 'worker man'. His 1/2 year milestones. Sleeping in his toddler bed (went through a phase of sleeping on the floor, but has since started to stay in his bed; however, he can and will get out of his bed if you don't come get him when he first wakes up-on weekends). Meet the Little Man.

The Oliver's Adventures: November 2015
http://theaoliversadventures.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 27, 2015. We've reached the halfway point with Lilly Grace. It's hard to believe we're already that far in. We spend so much time counting down and looking forward to all the milestones, but it's a little sad how truly fast it passes in the grand scheme of things. I pray I enjoy and soak up every week and moment left in this pregnancy. At 20 weeks, the LG is the size of a mango! And for a few weeks, we will have a pretty background for our baby fruit and bump pics! Baby Girl or Baby Boy?

The Oliver's Adventures: August 2016
http://theaoliversadventures.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 8, 2016. 4 months with Lilly Grace and Back to Work for Momma. Lilly Grace's 4 month wellness visit went well today, all things considered. Silly shots are no fun. She's in the 62% and 64% for weight and height. We go back in 2 months for her 6 month check up. 6 months? Are we sure that's right? How is this possible? Didn't I just have her? Wasn't it just April? I mean they'll hardly notice her, she's so good. Now, Lucas on the other hand-well he'd just keep us entertained.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Rockelbels Canon (Pachelbels Canon in D) - 4 Cellos - ThePianoGuys. Here is another awesome video by The Piano Guys! I love their creativity and this one is really upbeat and so much fun. Story behind the song:. ALL THE SOUNDS YOU HEAR WERE CREATED BY THE CELLO - bowing, plucking, strumming, and beating the cello any way possible. TRACK 7 on the album "Tender Mercies". Everyone appeared as themselves, except for Jon who got a little carried away with his characters. :). Another hug...

a charmed life?
Do not judge by mere appearances; for the light laughter that bubbles on the lip often mantles over the depths of sadness, and the serious look may be the sober veil that covers a divine peace and joy. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Janis, coming up on ferdinand's birthday, wrote about time. It is making me write here. it is bringing me back to this space. It is beginning to be more about her than it was about me. it feels ridiculous to write that; wasn't it always about her? It's not about me anymore. Well, i...

Living a Chosen Life
Living a Chosen Life. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Being powerful humans is a choice, just as being ineffectual humans is. When we choose to spend our moment fantasizing, we choose to be ineffectual. Creative forces are not idle, they are not stagnant or stationary. They are dynamic, and fluid, always changing, always adapting, always moving. Creativity is only born from action, not thought, will, or hope. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. When we call it blue aren't we limiting it to our perception of it? Another e...

Living A Christ-Like Life
Living A Christ-Like Life. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. LDS Conference in Review. I just love that we can listen to modern day prophets and apostles! As I mentioned in my LDS Conference-Are You Ready? Listening and reading conference talks daily. Referring back to the notes I took often. Incorporating the changes I felt inspired to do. Using the conference talks as a basis for FHE (I always learn more when I teach it to others). Study the lives of current and past prophets and their wives. Go to LDS.org.
