Living for the Laugh

Living for the Laugh. Monday, November 7, 2011. However my guilt hit a new level a year ago when our third baby was born nearly three month early. 8220;I am so sorry my love. “. I was sorry that my body had failed her; that she had to endure more in her first three hours of life than most people do in a lifetime. I was sorry I wasn’t able to hold her and comfort her. I felt I had done this to. No magic answer, no great insight, no Oprah “ah-ha’ moment. Perhaps someday I will have some great revelation an...

Living for the Laugh: My Heart Knew

http://livingforthelaugh.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-heart-knew.html

Living for the Laugh. Thursday, February 10, 2011. Eleven months ago I went to my OBGYN for an appointment for some issues, but mostly to discuss the possibility of having another baby. Based on severe damage to my uterus and a previous high-risk pregnancy I was told I would likely never get pregnant again and we needed to schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss a hysterectomy. I came home that day and wrote this:. Today my heart broke for you. Today I was told I may never hold you. Get a hit counter.

Living for the Laugh: June 2011

http://livingforthelaugh.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Living for the Laugh. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Everyone Needs This Friend! Ver wish you had a friend you could call on to help you with ANYTHING? I am not talking about helping you by watching your kids or listening while you complain about your mother. I am talking about the friend you call when your toilet is clogged and are too cheap to call a repair man, yet too afraid to tackle it alone. Well, I got me one. Her name is Jen and she is a freaking machine. Stay with me…I’m getting there…. I KNOW, RIGHT!

Living for the Laugh: January 2011

http://livingforthelaugh.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Living for the Laugh. Monday, January 24, 2011. Choices, we make them every day with immense ease. How do you take your coffee? What will you wear? Which kid will you wake first to start the day? What will you make for dinner? These are the easy ones. Then there are the hard ones. How and when do you explain death to your child? Do you tell a friend her husband is a jerk and is disrespectful of her? College fund for kids or retirement? Need than you simply were the one who wasn’t chosen. Is it fair to sa...

Living for the Laugh: September 2010

http://livingforthelaugh.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Living for the Laugh. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. A Village; Every Family Needs One. So life has been a bit busy for my family the last month. Well, busy may not be the right word – perhaps slowed to a standstill? I have been on complete bed rest keeping our little baby safe and growing until she can safely be born. Needless to say our family has been growing through many changes and modifications to our new (although temporary) way of living. All was going okay…then…. Links to this post.

my life | "peace will win, and fear will lose"

Peace will win, and fear will lose. Your Body Is Art. First I need to say something. This post isn’t about hating on or shaming people, because everyone has different views on different things. Every human being feels something about themselves that they don’t feel satisfied with. And weight and the bodily aesthetic completely consume most of our minds. Yet we have so many things to worry about, we worry about these things. Why? Picture taken by: me. Location: Martha’s Vineyard. December 21, 2015. Sesame...

Living For The Lamb

Living For The Lamb. A New Chapter In An Unfinished Book. July 28, 2014. Happy 28th of July people! Many of you may know that I have recently completed one year of college at a standard university. I enrolled under God’s leading and I learned many things from him while I was there. The interesting thing is that academically, I learned very, very little. Which led me to ask a question. What is the purpose of college or higher education and are they even the same thing? In my actions every day! This is int...

FOUNDED BY PEOPLE, GROUNDED IN NATURE. These photos were taken during the spring of 2014. Our first spring on this plot. Methods used; drip irrigation; all organic inputs, no pesticides, no unnatural fertilizers; our only nutrient input: home-brewed, aerated worm-tea’s; a good layer of mulch and crop diversity also go a long way. At this time we were harvesting a number of crops for […]. Proudly powered by WordPress.

Living for the Line

Living for the Line. Sunday, July 11, 2010. Bubbling Over with Summer News. No one should write a blog this long, but I haven't done this in eight months (! So- sorry- I'll just park some thoughts, whether anyone has time to read them or not. Once a year, the Walton Arts Center “makes over” the volunteers and has a reception and complimentary tickets to a show—this year complete with lei’s and Mike Rayburn, sort of a Victor Borge of guitar. Up right next to me. South of the U of A campus. After determini...

Living for the Little Moments

Living for the Little Moments. Friday, August 21, 2009. I avoid confrontation whenever possible. I'm not comfortable with it, I'm always worried about saying something wrong and making the situation worse. Plus I usually don't think quick on my feet. It's hard to avoid it when I have a coworker who constantly clashes with me and the boss calls a special meeting for just the 2 of us. Nothing was really resolved other than the fact that I finally had an opportunity to voice two years worth of frustration i...
