Maine was so much fun, we went to Cadillac Mtn for the sunrise one morning, spent a day looking for sand dollars at my moms favorite beach- Back Beach, walked some trails, watched the moon rise, ate lobster, has a fish and shrimp fry, shopped. Shannon spent a week with us in July camping. She loves it and we love having her. I have to say though she's 8 going on 28! Monday, September 1, 2014. Arkansas vs. Auburn (i.e. THE HEAT BOWL) August 31, 2014. Gary and I and Tim and Bonnie Endacott left on Friday, August 29th to head to Alabama to watch the Arkansas Razorback Hogs play Auburn on Saturday. We spent Friday and Saturday night in Opelika, only about 10 miles or less from Auburn. It was a good 10 hour drive but took us longer because we did stop to eat. Friday, October 18, 2013. I don't go to many funerals but felt the need for this one, she touched my heart. Congratulations to Marine graduate Jake! He's the son of friends and graduated at Parris Island today, coming home for a week then off to Pensicola, Fl. He has an aunt nearby down there and his great grandmother who is 100 yrs young. Friday, June 20, 2014. Tampere and Helsinki, Finland June 2014. Gary and I left XNA in Arkansas on June 20, 2014. We had a stop in New York and then left New York for Helsinki. Our final destination was Tampere, Finland but because we wanted to see the countryside we decided to fly to Helsinki and then take the train to Tampere. It's New Year's Eve, and I'm lying in bed at 11:00 pm feeling sick but trying to remain festive, so why not jot down the memories of 2013? Many (if not all) of these memories will make no sense to most, but it will to me and mine. Conga line to bathroom. Listening to Macy sing with her Princess castle. Emi juggling Alice in Wonderland and spring dance recital. Macy finally being potty trained. Bill getting promoted twice.
