May 16, 2016. Last week was difficult, no sleep, craving sugar and feeling regular pangs of cravings for my vino at the end of the day. And on my sixth day, I folded, gave in, caved, and I spun downwards for three days. It was not a test of my new not drinking life, it was the slipping away of awareness of how bad alcohol makes me feel.
