Parent Information Evening – Numeracy. Lochardil Primary is hosting a Parent information evening on Numeracy. The aims of the evening will be to raise awareness of:. Developments in teaching of numeracy. How parents can help. Numeracy resources used in school. The event will take place on Tuesday 16th June. From 6.30-7.15. We had great funmaking Caveman Art this week! We used tea and coffee to stain the paper and left it to dry. Then we painted pictures about ourselves. We thought that cavemen could have used charcoal and berries to paint with, so we used natural colours for our pictures. We enjoyed looking at pictures of real cave art too! As part of the school program in Emotional Resilience, the preschool children in nursery have had 4 sessions in recent weeks which have encouraged them to think about their emotions and the emotions of others. Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Stories are used in the pack to help children link the ideas they are learning to various situations.
