Garnet's Life Adventures: October 2005
http://garnetslifeadventures.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31. Start of Week 5. Sunday I stayed at school until around 18.30 studying with Susan. We took short breaks b/w going over the lectures so that's why it took so long. Plus neither of us had anything pressing to do that evening. Luckily we'd both turned out clocks back on Saturday so we were both on time, unlike others who were meeting for their study groups - lol! After we finished studying chemokine receptors and inhibitors I decided to come home and have some dinner - stir fry, yum!

I love the light !: Tuna company John West blamed for death of sharks in nets
http://ilovethelight.blogspot.com/2008/08/tuna-company-john-west-blamed-for-death.html
I love the light! Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places ,moments and persons that takes our breath away. Thursday, August 14, 2008. Tuna company John West blamed for death of sharks in nets. Britain's best-selling brand of tinned tuna is responsible for killing thousands of rare sharks and turtles every year, a new report claims. Although most tinned tuna is advertised as "dolphin-friendly", many other creatures are still being caught in huge nets. BEST AND THE WORST.

http://garnetslifeadventures.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 12. So as most people know by now I'm going to be moving to London this coming September to start my masters program at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Seeing as I'd never been to London I decide to plan a quick week long trip there so I could get my bearings and look at a few "flats" and see what the going rates for "letting" is. I've got to learn how to down load pictures so that you can see them - still new to this blogging stuff :). Posted by Sara @ 6:53 pm.

Garnet's Life Adventures: November 2005
http://garnetslifeadventures.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30. Just a little ranting. So nothing exciting has happened since I last wrote in this blog. I've been reading papers and trying to get my 2000 word essay done for Monday. I am very close to my 100 pound goal for the World Swim for Malaria, that's good news! I am however disappointed at the lack of people who donated - For just $5 you can save a child's life! I've realized what a sheltered life we Americans live - I bet most people don't even really know what Malaria. 2 DVD rentals,.

Tuesday, January 31. So I just got back from dinner at Nando's - I had the chicken pita with medium spice and pineapple. Following a lovely dinner we walked down to Covent Garden and tried a pub across the road from Urban Outfitters called Bunker. Posted by Sara @ 10:07 pm. So my term final exam was this morning and it wasn't as bad as it could have been - I was able to answer all the questions in the allotted time, so that's a plus! Near London Bridge for dinner and drinks. Posted by Sara @ 3:39 pm.
