Garage-gamer: December 2011
http://garagegamer.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
An informal look at the people who visit, and the games that are played in my garage. Sunday, 18 December 2011. It was a slow, quiet evening at the garage on Thursday. Our ad-hoc game had pretty much run its course and we were all aware that we needed to have everything put away before starting the next campaign battle which as I previously mentioned pits the Austrian juggernaut against a handful of Bavarians. A Brigade of Hesse-Darmstadt troops take position in and around a village. That's about all for...

Sunday, 13 March 2011. GUARD ARTILLERY FINISHED AT LAST. Two updates in a month, whatever next – a finished unit! The rammer was painted using a base coat of Vallejo German C Black (822) a very dark brown, a highlight of Vallejo Beige Brown (875) and a final highlight of Vallejo Light Brown (929). Garage-gamer: June 2011
http://garagegamer.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
An informal look at the people who visit, and the games that are played in my garage. Sunday, 26 June 2011. Our initial attempt at river sections sporting some of the bridges which the brave Allies will be using. The Prussian right wing lacking artillery support recoils from sustained French fire. The French left wing having fought off one half hearted assault awaits the next one. One of the small number of batteries so far deployed, firing on distant Prussian cavalry. Links to this post. An informal look at the people who visit, and the games that are played in my garage. Sunday, 3 June 2012. By mutual consent our latest game came to a slightly early end this week with a win for the Allies. The French gambit of throwing the majority of their strength in to an assault on their left nearly paid off but their weak right flank and centre were unable to hold on for long enough. Swiss and German infantry supported by lancers and hussars force back the Allied right wing. 3 June 2012 at 12:25.

Garage-gamer: November 2011
http://garagegamer.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
An informal look at the people who visit, and the games that are played in my garage. Friday, 25 November 2011. The Seldom Seen Kid. Prussian Landwehr painted by Neil Sheardown make their entry. Another shot of the Landwehr. The figures are all from Calpe Miinatures and are in my opinion the best there are by a country mile. I just wish that Calpe would expand their Saxon range. Ok so what are the changes that we're play testing? Austrian Jaeger advance warily towards an enemy occupied village. That's al...

Garage-gamer: Battle for the Centre
http://garagegamer.blogspot.com/2012/05/battle-for-centre.html
An informal look at the people who visit, and the games that are played in my garage. Thursday, 24 May 2012. Battle for the Centre. The French right, having taken the strategically vital village Neils' Russians push forward against a weak French division. The French centre held by a division of Young Guard has already seen off one attack by Nicks' Russians but now has to weather the storm from an assaulting Prussian Division. On the left the French have taken and maintained the initiative and are beginni...
