Children's Book Reviews: September 2006
http://childrens-book-reviews.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 20, 2006. What Do We Do in Dire Circumstances? When life can't get any worse, what would you do? I've often wondered. We all go through those moments when life feels like it can't get any worse. Somehow, someway most of us find a way through it all. I've recently read two books: Cracks. By Mike Klaassen. Remember his book, The Brute,. This is refreshing. The other book is for adults, A Matter of Time. Will they survive the disasters as well as the vengeance they reap upon one another?

Children's Book Reviews: Play and Friendship
http://childrens-book-reviews.blogspot.com/2014/08/play-and-friendship.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Play and friendship are something that children and animals seem to do naturally without inhibition unless it is trained out of them. I sometimes get puzzled by why my life doesn't have enough play, that me and my friends have to make appointments with one another in this busy adult life, and that we have to schedule play like taking vacations. When did the spontaneous play stop? Posted by Children's Book Reviews @ 1:05 PM. Judith's Art of Creativity blog. Life as a Mystery.

Wednesday, May 03, 2006. Happy first week of May to everyone! In another vein of adventure: I usually don't read books on the best seller list. I wait until they have stood the test of time. But, I love mysteries for my relaxing reading and I studied symbolism in art, so when I saw the new illustrated paperback version of. I couldn't resist it. Like Mike's book it is a page turner and well-plotted. I guess we all have to see the movie next. Blue Works, Port Orchard, WA, 2005. Readers who enjoyed Hatchet.

Wednesday, May 23, 2007. More Winners from Sylvan Dell! I so much enjoy my correspondence with the folks at Sylvan Dell as they are friendly and cheerful. That's why their books are so up-beat and heart-warming. Their latest publications are just as gladdening. And, now I'm able to watch the progress of their authors and illustrators as I am reviewing some second and third books of authors and illustrators. Hen about keeping a journal of sketches, writings, and phot. Is more environmentally friendly!

Children's Book Reviews: Happy New Year!!
http://childrens-book-reviews.blogspot.com/2015/01/happy-new-year.html
Thursday, January 08, 2015. I've had to come to a tough decision. The work on my own books has happily piled up, so that I can no longer take unsolicited book reviews or queries for book reviews for some time to come. However, from time to time I will be writing about books that I run across and love. I read two or three over the holidays that I can't wait to rave about. Do have a super-duper creative 2015!
