I had restored "tons" of gliders before I started taking pictures of them to post. One reason is that I started long before the digital age, when film was the order of the day and computers were not in every household. Here is a same of some of the later ones that I have brought back to life, some traditional, some with the whimsy that is me.

I laugh when I see this piece because the "eye" is an accident. While holding the grinder(I was removing rough edges), and admiring my work, I let the still running grinder touch the wood EXACTLY where the eye should be. $350. Links to this post. FOLK ART @ SUGAR HILL. Creating useful art from recycled and reclaimed items. Thursday, March 7, 2013. GUITAR MAN- SWEET MUSIC! Not to be able to play a note, I think I did a good job on my guitars. They measure a little over 6 feet each . I cut the pattern from plywood then covered each on with bead board. There is an old headlight grille , wine corks for tuning knobs, tequila bottle tops, and part of a rusty door hinge in this one. Lone star and p iece. Ceiling tin in the body. Links to this post.
