Ok, how about a lion whose tail was lost years ago when moving from one state to the next? So, I guess next year we'll do it again. The costumes, the expense, the time and the treats. Only maybe by next year I'll actually make good on my child hood pledge and dress up. No, probably not. Happy Halloween, I guess, until next year.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. I can't believe how old our kids are getting (and thus how old Jon and I are getting). Today was the start of highschool for Alex, 8th grade for Mona, middle school (6th) for Eli, and kindergarten for Isaiah! There were no tears that first day, but the next week proved a little more difficult separating (for him and me! Eli wouldn't cooperate, so we'll have to just imagine how great he looked! Sunday, October 26, 2008. Family Picture at a waterfall. The falls were beautiful and Jon managed to climb all the way up behind them at one point. Isaiah and his cousin Eleanor spent the majority of time playing in the dirt behind the house. There were plenty of deer and the sunshine made it a nice spot to relax! Cousin Olive playing with a statue at the High Desert Museum. Isaiah riding the pony "Blueberry". Isaiah after a day of bike riding. Eleanor enjoying having tween cousins to do her hair.
