This really inspired me and I have loads of ideas but not enough time! Here are some photos of the brass compact I bought on ebay which is extremely tarnished. Friday, 20 March 2015. Hessian Canvas - PaperArtsy Deconstructed Challenge. I made this hessian canvas for the PaperArtsy deconstruction challenge. It was a cheap one I bought from The Works and I've recycled it by covering over the original design with gesso so that I could use the gesso transfer technique with a piece of green Chatsworth. Saturday, 25 April 2015. Gothic Arch Niche for Paper Artsy Challenge. I made this for the PaperArtsy current theme which is Niches. I do like a good Niche! A little play time. Seeing as the weather has started to look like spring really is around the corner I have found myself wanting to be out in my shed more and more. So I have had a little bit of me time this week after an extremely hectic weekend with the grand national on Saturday and Ally Pally on Sunday a bit of relaxation was definitely needed! I had time for a little crafting over the weekend in between work shopping.cooking.cleaning and cutting the grass.and what lovely weather we have had! Long may it last! I was very envious of some of my crafting pals who were able to attend Happy Stampers in Port Sunlight on Saturday.what a lovely place that is and a great show! I thought I might like to have a go.so using layers of mermaid.blue oyster.caramel.chalk.tango.beach hut and hey pesto fresco paints I made my background. As usual some lovely work.

Don't forget to Fly. Been having a play this afternoon and decided to make another niche to enter into the paper artsy challenge.you can see all the details here. I started off with a tiny tin.painted it white and purple. I made a little angel charm to stand in the tin and put wings on the back. I managed to get a couple of hours in my shed today.seems like ages! I have had quite an eventful couple of weeks and not in a good way. I am recovering from a very nasty abscess on the root of my tooth which was joined by a gum and bone infection all I will say is no food no sleep and PAIN! Can you believe we are on topic 20 already over on the paper artsy blog.20! As you can see by my title it's all about the triptych.so pop over to PA and have a looksie here. Some beautiful samples as usual. Well I got some time to have a go so here we are. I started off with a little set of three wooden frames that have been laying around in my workshop for aaaages!
