What Will Happen to Me? 8216;Mam, yes, mam’ Ahhh! May 28, 2015. Okay, time for some realism here. Most of my blogs have been so positive and so determined because, well frankly, that is the sort of person I am. I always do my best to see the positive side of everything. Yes, I’ll have a quick moan but then on I’ll go seeing the silver lining. Sometimes, however, that is quite frankly bullshit! Will be dropped into an entirely new world with the expectation that they will just get on! I guess it is simple...

What Will Happen to Me? Monthly Archives: February 2015. February 2, 2015. Last week, one of my amazing students guest blogged on this site. Her poem, about her father who she feels does not care and doesn’t want to spend time with her, got an amazing reaction. More people started following my blog in one day than have ever done; more people liked the blog than any other blog. People posted amazing comments here and on other site. My Life As A Sibling. Leaves the computer to express feelings a bit).

What Will Happen to Me? The Road to Heaven via The Road to Hell! October 23, 2015. Gently floating as I currently find myself on a traditional Keralian houseboat near Allepey, it is hard to imagine that just yesterday our Keralian adventure took us to the other side of the state: a land of complete contrast to here. So we drove up the ever smaller, ever twister and ever (as I thought at the time) bumpier roads. Our driver calm in the face of buses coming hurtling towards him in the middle of the road...

Sarah (on the left), Kathryn, Parin, myself and my sister, Ruth on my hen night! 16 years ago this October, I was lucky enough to meet someone who was to have a permanent positive impact on my life. 16 years ago, I met my best friend, Sarah. Fate plays a huge role in what happens in our life we can steer ourselves in certain directions but that in no way implies that we have complete control over our lives. This picture summar...

What Will Happen to Me? The Iconic Indian-Pacific Railway. July 25, 2015. This week we went on an iconic train journey – the Indian Pacific from Sydney to Adelaide. It lead to a new style of writing for me but I went with the flow and wrote what I felt. It’s not a style I feel comfortable with but hey I didn’t feel comfortable writing a blog at all when I started so perhaps I just need to be brave and give other styles a go! Sydney to the Blue Mountains. Blue Mountains – not one of my own pictures! As we...

What Will Happen to Me? Not a Kazza in Sight! July 20, 2015. 18 months ago, my husband and I decided that once I was better, we were going to go on a once in a lifetime trip to celebrate my return to health. Our discussion of potential destinations ranged across the world and considered a wide range of possibilities. For various reasons, we settled on Australia. The most spectacular sunrise over the Australia outback – the land was on fire! She is tired, grumpy and lacks determination! So far, no Kazza!

What Will Happen to Me? Monthly Archives: March 2015. I Haven’t Given Up! March 29, 2015. I have been absent and absent for far, far too long! I have been longing to write a post but for reasons which should become evident in the close future, I have been unable. I see this blog as the place to be honest and transparent. This I cannot currently be. Fear not, soon, very soon I will be! The Wanton Women of Indian. The Loving Enchantress of Family. Not Blue in Blue In Maldives. Not Drowning but Waving!

What Will Happen to Me? Challenges: Infuriating But Mainly Exhilarating! May 12, 2015. We are heading the way that many, many young Britons have gone in the ‘great’ colonial past. (As an Irish person, I can assure you ‘great’ is most thoroughly in inverted commas! We are packing our bags and moving to. India with, I hope, a tad less arrogance and significantly greater tolerance than the colonialists of the past. View of the mountains from the pool at VW Marriott, Pune.
