SALIDA, CO - As soon as I wrote about our great campsite in Telluride, the weather changed. We got four lovely days there, which was fortunate and much enjoyed. Saturday, August 08, 2015. Not a good place to swim. 169;2015 Lydia Hinshaw. POULSBO, WA - Saturday, Prince Charming and I took a walk at the marina near our house-sit, hoping to spot a seal or two. We did see one seal, but he submerged before we could snap his picture. There was a lot of other wildlife, however, once we looked down. In the shallows near the dock were hundreds of jellyfish. There's a sporting goods store near the Y, with a good selection of goggles. Problem solved. Posted by Lydia Hinshaw.

ANACORTES, WA - We've been enjoying Anacortes for almost a week, while we wait to begin a house-sit near Poulsbo, about 100 miles south of here, later this week.
