Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Mums and Tots Winter Edition 2012. Why is it so painful, we ask ourselves? If the pain is simply too strong, we use Teetha. Where would we be without Teetha? In the last few days I've discovered that ice cold water seems to placate himself, but I wouldn't have tried this earlier than a year for fear of surprising and upsetting him. Because of how hectic our life is, I hadn't really thought about the course until we arrived at Rachel's welcoming doorstep for the first class. It sounds dramatic, but the experience was truly life changing. Please note that this is an independent post. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Because I have been brought up in a country where abortion is illegal, it was always been a slightly murky topic for me. Because it was illegal, surely it was wrong, no? I'm not sure if they realize their own irony. Both sides agree that we must have a sense of humanity, compassion and respect for life when discussing abortion. The focus changes from fetus to the pregnant woman, and perhaps the best way forward is to challenge where our personal focus lies. Long may it continue.
