Mark Chatterley's health blog. I may be ill, but I'm feeling good. Looking back. Thank you all! December 31, 2012 by markchatterley. I’m sure everyone you know on Facebook or Twitter is doing something like this, but I thought that I would jump on the bandwagon and have a go. I started the year having just about come back to a normal colour. All my jaundice had left me and I was an amazing 11.5 stone. However, this never quite happened. I got to 3 days a week and found that every time I tried to go u...

I really don’t have any other way of describing how I feel at the moment other than anger. Which is a very unusual sensation for me. In fact, I can’t ever remember being angry before. I have been frustrated, which is similar, but I don’t think I have ever been angry in my life until now. 8216;What am I angry about? 8217; you may ask. I am trying my ...

My journey to reach the roof of Africa. June 9, 2013. Yesterday the team, our families and I did a local short walk and then shared a meal and drinks in the evening sun. It was great for us all to spend some time relaxing and talking about the trip ahead of us. Today I’m off for another IHE. The other aspect of my Kilimanajaro challenge was of course to raise funds and awareness for PSC Support. There’s still time to help and every single penny will go to good use to help those affected by PSC. This week...

My journey to reach the roof of Africa. June 2, 2013. June’s here and it finally felt like summer might be on its way as I planned our penultimate training hike. Jeff wasn’t free to join us this weekend but we’ll get the whole team together for one last walk next weekend before we head out to Tanzania. At just over ...
