Facebook has announced that it will be issuing vanity URLs for Facebook accounts. You may be asking, what is a vanity URL? It is your chance to claim your very own piece of Facebook. Is developing innovative ways to integrate the social network into other websites and even TV. Take the case of Brittany Spears. This is a big no no. In the social media scene. Especially automated. The plan to use Twitter as a means of creating buzz and publicity quickly backfired for the Brittany camp.
