Sunday, August 16, 2015. Our sweet girl is four months old! She loves to watch TV (anything from Baby Einstein to the Fast and Furious), hold hands, Sophie the giraffe, and being in an environment where lots is going on. Starting to pay more attention. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Emmy bear is three months old! She is just the cutest thing and full of smiles. I am not going to lie, I am pretty glad that the "fourth trimester" is over. The first three months are HARD. It's getting easier now, and we are falling into a rhythm. She is sleeping 11 hours straight at night! 8:00 pm - 7:00 am. Woo Hoo! She met her friend Claire, who is 10 weeks younger than her. They are going to be besties. In her KC gear. Nanny came down to visit. So sweet. Uncle Granty. She had...

Friday, November 21, 2014. Night one at the welcome happy hour. Boys with the groom, Mario. We had two beach days and the first was a bit cloudy. Boo. Night two at dinner. Jud's business partner and his wife were also there. Key and Connie are great. Day 2 was much better weather. Lunch on the beach! Relaxing on our day bed swing. Thursday, October 23, 2014. The First Three Months (Thank God That's Over). It was misery, but that is behind me now. THANK GOD. Although I am still nauseous, the uncontrollable vomiting stopped around week 13. A huge thank you to Blake, my mom, my sister, and Nan for taking care of me. Monday, June 15, 2015. Here are a few pictures from the past month. We headed up to the lake for Memorial Day Weekend. Too bad it was cloudy and rainy most of the time. We had a Starbucks date with Amanda and Macy. Donna and Bob came to visit her. This little rocker was Blake's dad's chair growing up, then it was Blake's when he was little, and now it is Emerson's. I had a little slipcover made for it, and the pillow was given to me at my shower. So neat to have a family heirloom like this.

Monday, April 16, 2012. I am so glad that my sweet girl is no longer under the weather. We have been battling strep throat, roseola, and a couple different rashes. I am glad to say this morning WE ARE WELL! I was told by a friend last night to put some hydro -cortisone cream on the few places of the rash that were left and to my surprise this morning they were gone. Projects we have supported. Children at the Pedalavada Hostel in Odisha, India - Marr Munning Ashram. The Marr-Munning Trust is an independent grant making trust supporting charitable projects in the Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia or Sub-Saharan Africa. Our priorities are the education of poor children and training for poor and disadvantaged adults which will help them to earn. The trust was founded in 1970 by Frank Harcourt-Munning to alleviate poverty and suffering in the developing world.
