MOA Mission and Vision. I want to thank everyone for attending our recent Town Halls. I believe we have a good process in place for dealing with the issue of Board Certification. I want to remind everyone to keep in mind that the Optometry Students and new graduates are the future of our profession. Lastly, when the MOA deals with any issue, especially a difficult one like Board Certification we must be directed by our Mission:. Adopted May 20, 2008 by MOA Board. EHR Victory, PCO Visit, A Bill Dropped. I know it has been awhile since I posted partly because I have been too busy too post. First I would like to let everyone know that we have been working feverishly since Legislative Session opened in early January. We have put a bill in Annapolis to prevent insurance companies from mandating a discount on non covered services. This bill mirrors one passed by dentistry three years ago. We have an executive board meeting Tuesday night so off to prepare.
