Growing with Grace: May 2013
http://growingwgrace.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
A Journal of Thoughts. Sunday, May 19, 2013. A Walk of a Lifetime. I went for a walk around the lake the other day that's about 1 1/2. There's a sidewalk surrounding the lake where most people walk, and in occasional spots you'll see people right up to, or even in the lake, fishing or wading or just hanging out. I normally just walk around the lake on the walkway provided, but this time about 3/4. Of the way around I decided to go and sit on the rocks by the water for a while, just thinking and praying.

Growing with Grace: November 2013
http://growingwgrace.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
A Journal of Thoughts. Thursday, November 14, 2013. When life gets blurry. Yes, something else I found on Pinterest. I saw it and it just stuck out at me. Maybe you can't see real far ahead. You may not know what the outcome of something will be. Perhaps you're afraid to take a leap of faith because you did once before, it turned out bad, and you don't want the same result to happen this time. Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Why do we hear that it's such a good thing to have? What about prayer is so important?

Growing with Grace: Life's Not Fair...Or Is It?
http://growingwgrace.blogspot.com/2013/12/lifes-not-fairor-is-it.html
A Journal of Thoughts. Monday, December 16, 2013. Life's Not Fair.Or Is It? But the last time that I thought something wasn't fair and I tried saying to myself that I can't expect everything to be fair, I thought about the sovereignty of God. If God is sovereign, and something comes up that we don't like or think is unfair, what does that say about the way God plans things? Yes Does He do things we don't like? Yes Does He always have a plan or a reason why He does all things? View my complete profile.

Growing with Grace: October 2013
http://growingwgrace.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
A Journal of Thoughts. Thursday, October 24, 2013. Oh how I long for Christ to be near;. Oh how I long for blessed sweet peace;. Oh how I long for His coming to be here;. And for the day when mortal life shall cease. I long, in midst of my trials, for Gilead's balm;. I long for the moment when Jesus shall say,. With His voice, full of love, and sweet calm,. It is I, do not be not afraid". Then in a moment as light sheds anew,. I see Christ is never away from His sheep;. But for right now He bids me stay.

Scripture and a Snapshot. The view from our front yard yesterday evening. Links to this post. Lacto-fermentation is a fairly new thing in our house. When I first heard of it, I thought, "That is gross; there is no way I'm eating rotten food! But when a friend that had started making it gave us a jar, I decided I would go ahead and give it a try since it has good health benefits. It really isn't even bad! I just made a batch Tuesday, so here is my recipe. 4 medium sized tomatoes. 1 tablespoon chili powder.

Growing with Grace: June 2015
http://growingwgrace.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
A Journal of Thoughts. Sunday, June 21, 2015. I've been watching my dad, lately. Just like I did with my mom I've been noticing his actions and responses to the situations that we find ourselves in. My dad is encouraging, strong, and full of love. And I want to show y'all that that's exactly how I see him. To talk to me about it. He gives me money when I don't ask for it but he knows I need it. He works as much as he can to provide for his family. He supports us in our good endeavors. And...My dad can be...

Growing with Grace: My Mother
http://growingwgrace.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-mother.html
A Journal of Thoughts. Sunday, May 10, 2015. I've been thinking a lot about my mother, lately. For the past couple of months I've been noticing the way she conducts herself on a regular basis. I've seen her attitude, her demeanor, and her grace. I've been noticing her. I know almost every person says this about their mom and I think each person really believes it. I know I definitely believe what I'm about to say: my mom is the best mom in the world! The most gracious person I know is my mom. She alw...
