After some time debating a refresh of his website, Marcus contacted me to try and give his website a new lick of paint and increase his functionality within the CMS. The idea was to introduce a little bit of character in to the site, with some subtle colours and some personalisation. As the company is Marcus and his brand, there was the decision to add some photography to provide his users with a person to contact.

This UTM Builder is a tool that I created to enable me to quickly build UTM (Urchin Traffic Monitor) URLs. These are custom URLs that Google analytics uses to allow extra tracking for specific reasons. These could be certain links on a website or an email campaign that you want to track visitors from. You use the UTM Builder by adding in your destination URL as well as a campaign source. And optionally add term. Click the link at the top to try it out!
