This starry scene was captured a few months ago at a beach called Mother Ivey’s Bay. The night of this shoot was incredibility atmospheric, and the sky beautifully clear. I spent three hours in total photographing around this bay, with this picture being the first from the shoot, but the last picture to edit. Wednesday, 4 January 2012. Looking at the beach the wait wasn’t going to be too long. The surf was a heavy 4ft with a slight cross shore wind which wasn’t affecting it too much. I decided to shoot with my land gear and was pleased with the decision not to water shoot,it would have been a lot of swimming with the amount of water moving and probably not as productive.
