Wednesday, June 30, 2010. At five months old, Baby Gus. Has started to grow a head of thicker, very blond hair and has officially lost the row of dark hair along the top of his neck. LOVES reading books. He kicks his legs and gets so excited anytime a book is in front of him. Inconsistently rolls both from belly to back and back to belly, except when Jack is around to "help" him out, then he's consistent. Sleeps only 3, maybe 4, hours at night. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. At two months old Baby Gus. Weighs 11 pounds, 2 ounces and is 21 inches long (a little below 15% for both). Carries on the cooiest conversations. Sleeps best if he's swaddled in his bed. Can hold his head up pretty high during tummy time. Loves when his big brothers sing to him, but not when they put their hands all over his face. Has been known to sleep 6 hours straight at night (knock on wood! Still has a very, very gassy belly. Enjoys our animal finger puppet "Old McGus" shows.

Sunday, May 30, 2010. At four months old, Baby Gus. Weighs 13 pounds, 10 ounces (25%) and is 23.5 inches long (10%). Decided he wants more time playing with Mommy and went back to sleeping only 4 or 5 hours at night. Wears 0-3 month clothes and size 1 diapers. Takes his paci out of his mouth and twists it all around, examining it. Loves to watch his brothers run back and forth in front of him. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Monday, August 30, 2010. At seven months, Baby Gus. Loves grabbing and crumpling up paper- it's the best toy ever! Makes Indian noises all by himself. Well, at least I think he does. There's usually a "mamama" mixed in with his cries, and I'm counting it. Weighed 16 pounds, 14 ounces (25%) and was 26 inches (10%)at his doctor's visit on August 24. Started to sit up and thinks timbering is funny as long as it's not on hard floor. Loves going for stroller rides and being outside.

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Max's favorite part of primary is spotlight. I know this for two reasons. #1- We play spotlight at home all the time! Thank you for the flashlights Grandpa! Max turns off all the lights in our house and repeats the entire spotlight poem. Today Max was the spotlight. When the light landed on him, he could hardly control his excitement.
