June 22, 2010. We celebrated Father's Day this year with a lovely afternoon at Grandma and Papa's house. It involved several of Thomas's favorite things: food from Muggy's BBQ, mellow time with his girls and U.S. Open golf. We hope he, Papa and Nagypapa Willie had a wonderful day. Q: What's Daddy's job? June 15, 2008. Sylvie's Daddy is funny, silly, patient, loving, plays the guitar and is really, really good at reading stories, so we had a BBQ for him at Bestemor's house today. Grandpa and Nagyapa were there too because they are such excellent and fun Grandpas. Cousin Amanda brought her daddy too, Uncle Nils. Happy Father's Day to the daddies! I love that picture of Sylvie! July 23, 2012. It's pretty amazing how quickly a sunflower goes from being the most beautiful thing in the garden to the biggest eyesore. When a sunflower is done, it's really ugly. Oona and Elinor were done, so we cut off their heads and took out their seeds to make roasted sunflower seeds. July 22, 2012. And we're back.it's been awhile. We spent 2 weeks in Norway and it's been a week since we've been back. Where to start? Here's a good place. Oldemor (great-grandmother), Bestemor (grandmother), Daddy and the girls. What a blessing to have us all together in Trondheim, Norway, a place that is so special to us. September 11, 2012. We are dog-sitting Hank and it's time for his morning walk. Nora grabs his leash and clips it onto his collar. Sylvie objects, says she gets to hold the leash.
