Friday, June 29, 2012. The Great Vitamix Debacle of 12, Bangs, and Hella Hot {InstaFriday}. I've had this machine since April. A friend of mine posted a picture on Facebook of her "mishap" with a smoothie. I commented on how this was my worst fear with this machine. Two hours later this happened. My trips to the Amish are becoming more and more frequent. I love the simplicity of their life. Wonder if they'd let me join them? Yeah, probably not. I got all of this for $21. These are our favorite so far.

Friday, February 17, 2012. Valentines Day isn't something we typically "do" around here. Our anniversary is the week before and so by the time the big day o' love. Rolls around, we just always feel like we've covered all that. Apparently, this year, my man felt like he had forgotten something. I know how to fight fire. Then came the sucker punch. While I was busy consuming copious amounts of buttercream, he had another mass weapon of destruction up his sleeve. Me: big snotty ball of putty in his hands.

Monday, March 21, 2011. Although winter tends to be a little slower for outside photos we managed to catch a break on the weather and trudged through the snowy trail at Neil's pond for the beginning of our session. I was so happy when mom contacted me to do some pics of their new baby Avery and her big sister Emma. They are both such sweet little girls and were so cooperative and pleasant it made my job easy! Kisses and cuddles, skittles and flowers, fairies and fun summed up our day! Just bits and pieces.

A tale of two siblings. Monday, September 28, 2009. Summer has passed too quickly this year! It seems like it barely got hot enough to swim before it started cooling down again! And we apparently have two monsoon seasons in Tennessee, or at least that is the way it was this year. I am so glad to see the (albeit much cooler) sun last week! Too bad it has hidden its self.
