MikeLaura.Kate.Kara.Avery.Drew. Sunday, July 5, 2009. Today marked two months since our sweet little Avery's passing. We went up to the cemetery today as a family and put flowers on her headstone which was finally set about a week ago. It was overwhelming and completely surreal seeing our little girl's name on that piece of stone. The question that I get a lot is, "has it gotten any easier? Jarom, Charla and Evan. Just some pics and info that's going on in our lives. Friday, March 26, 2010. We colored Easter eggs the other day with Evan's friend Evelyn. They did such a great job and turned out so cute, and it kept them entertained for a long time! Easter egg dye kits are so cute and creative now days (not like when I was a kid and all we had was our own food coloring and a wax crayon! We found a cute kit that had little mini paint rollers that they could use which worked out perfectly!

The Days of Our Lives. Saturday, May 3, 2014. Easter becomes more and more special as our kids get old enough to understand its real meaning. This year our kids told us the meaning of Easter and relayed all of the events surrounding it in detail. The Easter bunny and egg dying still made an appearance, but they seemed to take a back seat to the important things. I am truly grateful for the knowledge of all that our Savior did so that we can be together for eternity. I was equally obsessed with her mother.
