Mountain beside Mill Cottage is well worth the effort on a clear day. The walk is well marked up to a Promontory Fort and has spectacular views. Is a recently renovated Victorian steam mill, standing by a stream. The water from the stream originally provided the steam to power the workings for grinding the corn for local farmers. The cottage has open farmland on two sides and sits in the corner of extensive cottage gardens which guests are welcome to enjoy.
